We are seeking a skilled Bike Professional to join our dynamic team at the Asheville Bicycle Company. In this role, you will provide top-tier mechanical service, expert advice, and exceptional customer care to local riders and visitors exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains.
What You'll Do
What You'll Do
- Assemble, tune, and repair a wide range of bicycles, including standard, road, and electric models.
- Diagnose mechanical and general bicycle issues.
- Assist customers with bike selections, gear recommendations, and part necessities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop floor.
Requirements
Requirements.
- Deep knowledge of bikes, bike parts and accessories.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience at a service or sales oriented bike shop.
- Knowledge and/or involvement in the local Western North Carolina cycling community and locales.
- Ski and or Snowboard experience
