About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Installation Mechanic to join our sub-contract team in Vero Beach, FL. You will be responsible for installing high-quality cabinetry and custom millwork in residential and commercial properties, ensuring precise alignment and exceptional craftsmanship.
What You'll Do
- Install residential and commercial cabinets, trim, and molding according to blueprints and design specifications.
- Utilize hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood and alternative materials.
- Ensure all installations are level, plumb, and securely fastened while adjusting hardware for proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site while collaborating effectively with project managers and clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cabinet installer, finish carpenter, or in a related trade.
- Proficiency with standard carpentry tools, including miter saws, table saws, and drills.
- Ability to accurately read blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites around Vero Beach.
Nice to Have
- Experience with custom high-end millwork or cabinet refacing.
- Certification from a trade school or relevant OSHA safety training.
