About This Role
Industrial Tool Repair department needs quality candidate to handle multidimensional administrative duties that includes working with customers, mechanics and colleagues in an office setting. Must be able to multi task, be very proficient at typing and use of computers.

What You'll Do
- Customer facing for inbound and outbound calls. In bound includes status updates, pricing, general information about what brands and products we work on. Pricing job tickets, including finding parts pricing by using our in house technology or logging into vendor portals for pricing and availability, as well as either email or phone calls to get pricing or other technical information. Processing repair orders, distribution of parts and paperwork as part of the work flow in the department. Contacting customers, with emails or calls, to give them estimates, advising when tools complete a ready for pick up or processing for delivery. Filing warranty claims with vendors as needed. Trouble shoot problems as they surface. Following up on estimates to get approvals. Must be able to pick up 50 lbs. up to a few times a day. Need to be able to go up and down stairs to gather parts. Respond to customer problems or complaints. Collect deposits, payments or fees.
Requirements
High school or equal or above. Must be fast typist. Must have ability to stay focused and handle details well. Must be able lift 50 lbs. several times a day, go up and down stairs several times a day.
Must be able to work 40 hours a week, M-F, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Able to navigate computer software efficiently with training. Excellent customer service skills, including ability to clearly understand and communicate technical information to customer and vendors. Handle periods of sitting at computer for considerable time. Must pass drug test, physical and background check. Must prove citizenship.
Nice to Have
Spanish speaking. Mechanical background and comfort with technical issues. Experience with our Prophet 21 ERP system. Proficient in MS outlook, excel and word.
