What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a team member who can assess customers' needs and showcase our extensive product range.
• Designing dream kitchens and bathrooms for our clients requires a collaborative approach, and we need someone who can effectively work with customers to bring their visions to life.
• Our ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing 20/20 Design software to create precise layouts, specifications, and prices for custom cabinets.
• The selected individual will accurately process orders, track inventory, and ensure timely delivery of kitchen and bath products.
• This role demands strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service, facilitate design consultation meetings, and maintain open communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
• The designer will also be responsible for accurately entering sales data into our point-of-sale system and supporting sales associates with product knowledge and process expertise.
• Collaboration with project managers and contractors is essential to guarantee successful installations and smooth project execution.
• Organizing and managing all project documentation, including tracking and record-keeping, will be a critical responsibility.
• The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date on pricing and merchandising strategies for the department.
• Finally, our team member will consistently provide an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• Submission of a design portfolio demonstrating your design and 20/20 skills is required.
• A Degree in Interior Design is preferred, but not required. Industry certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years managing Kitchen and Bath projects, including working with cabinet installers
• Minimum of 3 years designing and quoting projects with 20/20 design software in multiple cabinet catalogs.
• Experience specifying and ordering plumbing fixtures for both Kitchen and Bath projects
• Experience working with Kitchen and Bath remodel and installation contractors
• Experience working directly with countertop fabricators
• Excellent time management, record keeping and project management skills
• Experience working with customer relationship management systems
• Experience specifying and ordering all products and being responsible for accurately checking all order acknowledgements and communicating shipping schedules
• Capable of maintaining updates to 20/20 and all vendor catalogs and pricing
• This position also requires proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word and experience using electronic mail.
• Excellent spelling, grammar, written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate professionally with staff, customers and vendors
• Minimum of 3 years designing and quoting projects with 20/20 design software in multiple cabinet catalogs.
• Minimum of 3 years managing Kitchen and Bath projects, including working with cabinet installers
