About This Role
We are seeking a Tile Scheduling Assistant/Customer Service to join our team!
This is NOT a work from home job.
You will be responsible for providing available scheduling dates for our Tile installs, making sure materials have arrived and are reserved, and communicate with our customers, builders, installers, and our warranty and sales department on a daily basis.
This is a fast-paced job and requires great organization to keep up with all the moving parts.
Hours are Monday-Friday 6am-3pm OR 7am-4pm, some work occasionally on Saturday for 4 hours may be required at times.
Pay depends on experience, but will be approximately $17.00-$18.00hr.
We are located in Dallas near Garland off 635!
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Assist main tile scheduler with setting up and confirming jobs
- Help builders, customers, and installers over the phone
- Confirm material for jobs has arrived and in the warehouse
- Call builders, customers, or installers to confirm installation/repair dates
- Organize installation paperwork and have ready for dispatchers
- Handle schedule changes and reschedule appointments
- Communicate effectively with other departments to make sure everyone is on the same page for scheduling
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise
- May have to help out occasionally at reception desk for lunch times
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Ability to keep organized and function efficiently in a fast-paced position
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Good with managing a calendar
- Must be reliable and possess great customer service skills, must be good w/people
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have computer skills to include basic Word and Outlook
- Be prompt and reliable
- At least 2 years of customer service/scheduling experience preferred
- Bi-Lingual English and Spanish is a PLUS!
- Knowledge of Tile, Flooring, and/or experience working in Construction type scheduling/customer service job a BIG PLUS!!
