Retail Sales Associate / Bicycle Mechanic in Training

What You'll Do

The role includes:

• Engaging with customers to understand their needs and recommending the right products and services.
• Providing one-of-a-kind customer experiences through personalized interactions.
• Contributing to the daily operations of the store, including inventory management and maintaining a clean environment.
• Staying up-to-date on sales promotions, policies, and security procedures.
• Performing vehicle rack system installations and safety checks.
• Sharing knowledge of merchandise, its use, and care with customers.
• Merchandising products according to sales plans.
• Preparing merchandise for purchase or rental.
• Selling merchandise, arranging for delivery, insurance, financing, or service contracts.
• Carrying out other duties as needed.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who:

• Have previous bike shop sales experience, though not required.
• Enjoy working in a team environment, focused on delivering excellent sales and service experiences.
• Possess strong attention to detail.
• Can maintain positive relationships with employees and customers.
• Are interested in developing their skills and knowledge.
• Are available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Can periodically lift 40 pounds.

Nice to Have

Preferred candidates will have experience with:

• Cash registers and POS systems.
• Microsoft Windows and desktop computers.
• Point of sale software.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish.
