Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Flooring Sales Professional to join our team. This role combines a competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure, rewarding both sales performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is driven, organized, and experienced in consultative sales, with a strong ability to guide customers through the flooring selection and purchasing process.
Our best sales associates view themselves as a business within the business, leveraging their personal brands alongside our powerful national and local branding. As such, you should be equally comfortable greeting customers in the showroom and promoting our store through your professional and personal networks. While you place a premium on the customer experience, you also don't hesitate to close when the time is right. You have the conviction to do what's right for your customers by helping them acquire the flooring of their dreams! Since most of our products are installed, you should also care deeply about the beauty and quality of a job done right. What You'll Do
Expectations for the Sales Consultant
- Maintain a clean and neat showroom
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Handle sales from start to finish
- Assist customers through flooring journey
- Answer customer questions
- Help customer with decorating and/or design advice
- Prospect for new business
- Manage time in the showroom, in the customer's home and prospecting for new clients
- Undergo extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert
- Keep up-to-date on the wide select of floors we offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each
Work Environment:
- Combination of showroom and in-home sales
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Fast-paced, performance-driven culture with clear accountability.
Requirements
Qualifications for the Sales Consultant
- College degree a plus, but not required
- Passion and/or experience decorating or designing
- Self-starter
- Personally well-organized
- Flexible work hours to include weekends
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for In-Home visits
