What You'll Do
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading your store to success through strong leadership, effective team management, and a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Drive revenue and gross profit growth on the sales floor and service counter
- Lead by example in sales and customer service
- Ensure that bikes are built and serviced quickly to maintain sales momentum
- Regularly review store performance and address any areas for improvement
Team Development
- Train and coach team members in sales, service, and systems
- Reinforce training through role-playing, Trek University, and hands-on coaching
- Lead team meetings and foster a culture of growth and accountability
Store Operations
- Maintain strong cash handling and financial controls
- Ensure accurate inventory, receiving, transfers, and cycle counts
- Keep the store clean, organized, and aligned with the Trek brand
Leadership
- Manage team schedules and performance expectations
- Develop IDPs for direct reports
- Hold regular one-on-one meetings with team members

- Retail Leadership: At least 1 year of experience managing a retail store and team, with a focus on driving sales and profit growth
- Sales & KPI Focus: Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue, gross profit, and customer experience targets
- Coaching Mindset: Able to train, develop, and hold team members accountable to high standards
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and peak retail periods
- Growth Mindset: Willing to learn and apply training programs such as Trek University and Cardone University
- Leadership: Comfortable making decisions, having direct conversations, and holding people accountable
- Organization & Communication: Strong organizational skills with clear written and verbal communication

- Physical Ability: Able to regularly lift and carry up to 45 lbs

- Experience in training, coaching, or team development, or a strong desire to develop these skills
- Sales strategy or revenue growth experience, or a keen interest in learning
- Bike shop or specialty retail management experience, or a passion for the cycling industry
